Abundant Fish

When Vibrant Pulse changed ownership the decision was made torebrand the company as a fresh start. Over several sessions we found a fresh concept and name, based on the Old English translation of the River Exe, 'abundance of fish', carrying the ideas of collaboration between the team members towards a cohesive whole, as well as ideas of being a company made of a diverse set of skills and clients.

I created a new brand identity over several rounds of idea generation and refinement, landing on a visual identity that uses the combination of the fish to form an arrow representing pushing forward and progress, both for Abundant Fish's clients and the company itself rebranding to become something new and better. I used a purple/pink gradient colour scheme as a bright, energetic scheme that were also colours Vibrant Pulse had never used. This colour combination also works on the level of being somewhat more traditionally feminine colours, as Abundant Fish had a majority of women on the staff at the time of the rebrand.

After the rebranding was complete, I handled designing and building a new, more dynamic, modern site that better reflected Abundant Fish's skills and approach as a company. I also created all of the printed, social media and email campaign graphics, giving the brand a consistent styling that had always been missing with the Vibrant Pulse branding.

This project was completed as part of my employment for Abundant Fish, intellectual property rights belong to that company.
